OK, let me give you some info of what is happening over here.

It rains and it is cold. It doesn't matter that there are tops of 16, it is cold.  And the house is cold. To be honest, I thought my parents house was cold, but this is like living with my dad * 10: "16 degrees in the house is normal, not cold". Yeah right!

Lots of birthdays, but no parties. This weekend we are relaxing on Saturday; starting the day with the gym, then a bit of shopping in Chatswood and probably the cinema in the evening. Sunday is all about MIdsummer here, so work for me. But it will be fun to meet lots of Swedish people.

So, can you expect anything exciting happening here....we are planning a trip to Melbourne, we are trying to get tickets to Pink, and some sports events (AFL, NFL)..but if you know me you know I am going for the free drinks and food..and perving on some nice sports men!!!!

Queen's birthday = no work

Its been a lazy day today.

What I have done is try out the new game I bought yesterday: Raving Raymond Rabbids (or something like that) and it is great. I get to dance, and play in a band and do lots of other things I am not very good at.

I think we may go to the cinema tonight. My favorite cinema called Orpheum, as it is an old art deco cinema that shows lots of different movies (and quite a few Swedish movies).

Saturday and long weekend

Finally weekend! And this week we have Monday off as it is "the queen's birthday". Not sure which queen they are talking about as it isn't the current British one, and in some states this day falls on a different date. I think it is just an excuse to have a public holiday.

Tonight we are going out with Mike & Rollie and Dave and Nic and we're going to try a Moroccan restaurant called souk. It will be a great evening with lots of nice food and wine.

Tomorrow, Thursday, it is only 11 weeks until I get on a flight to Sweden!!!

Today has been one of those, work work work days...plus that we got stuck on the bridge on the bus this morning for 40 minutes.

Finished the day by meeting MW and going for some red vino and pizza at our local Italian restaurant Amici.

Flourecent yellow

Did you know that if you take multi vitamins and they have B12 or B2 (can't remember) and your body has enough of those vitamin B's, you will pee fluorescent yellow!!!! I was self-diagnosing myself with help of Google and thought I would find some deadly decease, luckily it was a no. Only my multi vitamins.

This week is a boring week. Nothing planned....but I am quite happy with that as there is lots of work on at the moment.

I do miss that Swedish summer weather you have had for a while now!!! I wish I was there, sitting in the sun eating an ice-cream with my mum and Victor. And all my friends can come and say hi and stop of a coffee.....ah, I wish!! Over here it is now officially cold. I think it was a top of 18 or something today (and that is cold).
